SUMMARY
The Plate Roll Operator rolls flat steel parts based on customer drawings.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Comply with the Rights Responsibilities for All Employees listed in the Employee Handbook.
- Complete work according to the Rolling schedule or as instructed by Supervisor.
- Process parts according to instructions listed on Rolling work order/drawings.
- Setup, operate, and troubleshoot hydraulic plate rolling machine.
- Perform material handling activities manually and using overhead crane.
- Perform required equipment, safety, and quality inspections.
- Generate NCR (non-conformance report) for parts that are not to standard.
- Complete necessary paperwork when required.
- Demonstrate safe work habits at all times.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and report maintenance issues as needed.
- Maintain an organized work area.
- Comply with Brannon Steel quality system requirements as documented through the ISO 9001:2015 standard.
- Comply with Brannon Steel's Environmental Management System (EMS) based on the ISO 14001:2015 standard.
