Trainer - TMW Superuser

Salary Range: $70,000 - 80,000

We are seeking an experienced TMW Trainer / Transportation Systems Specialist to join our Operations team. This role is ideal for an experienced transportation professional with extensive knowledge of Trimble TMW Suite who is passionate about training, mentoring, and improving operational processes.

As the organization's TMW Super User, you will serve as the primary subject matter expert for the Transportation Management System (TMS), supporting dispatch, operations, and customer service teams through onboarding, training, troubleshooting, and continuous process improvement. In addition to system administration, you will work closely with Operations leadership to optimize dispatch workflows, improve data accuracy, and maximize the capabilities of TMW Suite.

Key Responsibilities

TMW System Administration

• Serve as the organization's primary TMW Suite subject matter expert.
• Provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting for TMW users across the organization.
• Assist with system configuration, updates, testing, and implementation of new features.
• Monitor data integrity and ensure consistent use of TMW across all departments.
• Collaborate with Operations and IT to identify and resolve system issues.
• Develop reporting tools and dashboards to support operational performance and decision-making.

Training & Development

• Lead onboarding and training for new dispatchers, planners, customer service representatives, and operations staff.
• Develop and maintain training materials, user guides, quick-reference documents, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Deliver one-on-one and group training sessions focused on TMW functionality and best practices.
• Coach employees on efficient system utilization and transportation processes.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend ongoing learning initiatives.

Operations & Process Improvement

• Partner with Operations leadership to identify opportunities to improve dispatch workflows and operational efficiency.
• Recommend system enhancements that improve freight visibility, routing, load planning, and fleet utilization.
• Support initiatives that reduce manual processes, improve data accuracy, and increase productivity.
• Assist with freight tracking, routing optimization, fuel efficiency initiatives, and operational reporting.
• Promote standardized processes and best practices across the transportation team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation operations, dispatch, fleet planning, or logistics.
• Advanced working knowledge of Trimble TMW Suite is required.
• Previous experience as a TMW Super User, Trainer, System Administrator, or Operations Support Specialist is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of fleet dispatch, load planning, routing, driver management, and transportation operations.
• Experience developing and delivering software training programs.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and coaching skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to translate complex system processes into easy-to-understand training.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and reporting tools.
• Experience with transportation technologies such as ELDs, GPS tracking, and telematics is considered an asset.
