Job Details:
- Understand the detailed mechanical and electrical workings of all Prairie Machine products
- Assess malfunctioning mechanical/electrical modules and determine the cause of the failure
- Perform quality repairs with a keen attention to detail
- Accurately communicate with the customer and our own engineers to ensure information is shared with all parties
- Provide input/feedback to the Prairie Machine design team as it pertains to the serviceability and longevity of products
- Assist production staff as required
- Produce timely and detailed service reports
- Up to 70% of travel may be required
- Follow prescribed safety standards, rules, and regulations
- Participate in safety culture, lead by example
- Identify non-conformities and participate in their resolution
- Maintain a well-organized and clean workspace as per Prairie Machine vision
- Maintain all equipment and tools per recommended procedures
- Maintain a healthy work environment
- Completion of Grade 12 or GED; automotive or electrical trade is preferred
- 1-2 years of field service experience
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment
- Experience with MS Office, basic programming knowledge
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence
