About the Role
Pockit Self Storage is one of Manitoba's leading self-storage providers, and we're looking for a motivated, sales-minded team member to join us. This is a hands-on role where you'll drive occupancy, help customers find the right storage solution, and keep our facilities running at their best — all in a largely independent work environment with real room to grow.
What You'll Do
- Manage rentals and occupancy by presenting available units, pricing, and promotions to prospective customers.
- Follow up with leads consistently to explore every opportunity to convert inquiries into rentals.
- Prepare and manage rental agreements and contracts.
- Process rental payments.
- Participate in vendor management and Accounts Payable processes.
- Monitor and follow up on delinquent accounts to minimize outstanding balances.
- Maintaining units and general curb appeal.
- Conduct daily site inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and security standards are met.
- Perform opening and closing procedures and maintain the facility to Company standards.
Who We're Looking For
- Outgoing, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently
- Sales-oriented with strong communication and customer-facing skills
- Able to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Strong computer proficiency.
- Bonus if you have experience in: retail, rentals, sales, hotel/property management, or a keyholder/supervisory role — but not required!
