Full Time Experienced Logistics Fleet Dispatcher Role in Halton Hills - Immediate Opening

Payrate: $55k-$62k/year

Benefits: After 3 months

Additional Perks: Free onsite parking

Position Type: Long Term

Requirements:

3-5 years' Dispatch/Logistics coordinator experience
Comfortable working in a food environment, including meat
MS Excel and GPS technology experience
GMP and CFIA experience (an asset)
Able to work on a day or afternoon shift Monday to Saturday (scheduled 5 days/week)
Strong communication skills
Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain (an asset)

Responsibilities:

Dispatching contracts to carriers
Tracking inventory
Fielding and directing all incoming phone calls
Email communication between client and vendors
Acting as a liaison between the company and clients
Ensuring compliance with predetermined routes, customer protocols, and safety procedures
Handling emergency pickup and delivery of orders
Troubleshooting and resolving any driver and customer issues
Confirming customs broker information
Saving all documents (BOLs/Customs docs/Packing lists) to the server
Tracing and tracking all shipments
Ensuring carriers have insurance and an acceptable safety rating before securing
