A leading exhaust fan manufacturing company based in Woodbridge area is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Logistics Manager to oversee transportation, shipping, and supply chain operations for a growing metal sheet/HVAC manufacturing organization.

Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Responsabilities
- Manage domestic and international transportation activities, including air, ocean, rail, and ground freight.
- Coordinate the movement of raw materials, components, and finished products to support production schedules and customer deliveries.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies that improve efficiency, service levels, and cost performance.
- Build and maintain relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and third-party logistics providers.
- Negotiate transportation contracts and monitor vendor performance.
- Ensure compliance with Canadian, U.S., and international trade regulations and customs requirements.
- Oversee shipping documentation, customs clearance processes, and import/export activities.
- Identify opportunities to reduce freight costs, streamline operations, and improve supply chain visibility.
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Production, Warehouse, Sales, Finance, and Project Management teams to support business objectives.
- Monitor shipments and proactively resolve transportation delays, damages, and service issues.
- Implement logistics technologies and tracking systems to improve reporting and shipment visibility.
- Lead and mentor logistics personnel while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of customs compliance, import/export regulations, and cross-border shipping.
- Experience managing transportation providers and negotiating service agreements.
- Understanding of air, ocean, rail, and trucking operations.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, transportation management systems (TMS), and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Professional logistics or supply chain certifications are considered an asset.
