Job Overview: CNC Service Technician / Industrial Millwright (Apprentice or Licensed)We are seeking a CNC Service Technician / Industrial Millwright (licensed or apprentice) to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of CNC machine tools in industrial and manufacturing environments.This role is ideal for a 433A Millwright, registered apprentice, or mechanically inclined technician with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills and exposure to CNC machinery.
Key Responsibilities: CNC Service Technician / Industrial Millwright (Apprentice or Licensed)

• Install, align, and commission CNC machine tools and industrial equipment
• Perform mechanical maintenance, breakdown repair, and preventative maintenance
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems
• Work on CNC equipment including mills, lathes, grinders, and automated production machinery
• Diagnose issues in CNC control systems (FANUC, Mitsubishi, HEIDENHAIN – asset)
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Perform machine leveling, alignment, calibration, and spindle adjustments
• Replace and repair components such as bearings, motors, drives, sensors, belts, and spindles
• Support machine installations and retrofits at customer sites
• Complete service reports and communicate effectively with customers on-site

Requirements: CNC Service Technician / Industrial Millwright (Apprentice or Licensed)

• Licensed Industrial Millwright (433A) OR registered apprentice (2nd–4th year preferred)
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on industrial maintenance experience
• Experience with CNC machines or automated manufacturing equipment (asset)
• Ability to troubleshoot hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and ability to read schematics
• Familiarity with CNC controls is an asset (FANUC, Mitsubishi, HEIDENHAIN)
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
