Spanning Central and Southwestern Ontario, our services are customized to respond to the dynamic and evolving security needs of both private and public sector clients. These include uniformed guard, mobile response and support services, by-law enforcement and identification services.

POSITION SUMMARY

Job type: Security/Access Control

Reports to: Site Supervisor/Regional Manager

Anticipated start date: ASAP

Posting Close Date: Until filled

Hourly Rate of Pay: CPID #MDA022 $20.40/hr (Non union)

Hours of work: 2300 - 0700 (8 Hours)(Paid Meal Breaks)

Shifts: Monday-Friday

Location: 7500 Financial Dr, Brampton, Ontario

Accessible by Transit: Yes

Uniform: White Shirt, Cargo pants, Safety footwear (CM)

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• Ensure access control policies and procedures are followed and client property is secured
• Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems
• Maintain positive attitude and professional working relationships with employees, visitors and clients
• Complete site reporting requirements, daily logs and written reports
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and deportment
• Maintain effective communication
• Respond to alarms and calls for assistance and be a member of MDAs Emergengy Response Team
• Provide assistance to employees, clients and visitors
• Regular interior and exterior foot patrols
• Able to operate a computer CCTV system when needed
• Other duties as may be required by the client or site supervisor

REQUIRED EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

• *MUST*Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• *MUST*Valid First Aid and CPR certificate
• Level I Reliability Clearance or Greater.
• Must obtain a Controlled Good Program (CGP) clearance
• The ability to stand for long periods of time and complete frequent patrols
• Good understanding of computers
• Customer service/reception/administrative skills
• The ability to work alone while maintaining a high level of service to the client is essential
