Job Duties:Our Grounds Keeping Superintendent works to ensure our crews operate with the utmost care and efficiency to reflect a high standard of workmanship. The following is intended only as a general description and should be considered the minimum required to fulfill this job role.
- Maintain knowledge of site layouts and key infrastructure (alarm panels, roof hatches, hydrants, utility rooms, etc.).
- Supervise and coordinate multiple grounds-keeping properties & crews.
- Manage outdoor janitorial services.
- Manage Lawn Maintenance.
- Plan and coordinate snow and ice removal operations during winter.
- Ensure all work meets contractual scope and service standards.
- Conduct site inspections, address maintenance needs, and make timely decisions to resolve operational issues.
- 5 – 10 years of experience in a similar role.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean Driver's Abstract.
- An asset: Degree or diploma in Horticulture, Construction, Landscape, Applied Technology, or Construction Management
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to make quick and smart decisions.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy
