This 8-week paid internship offers hands-on experience in a laser vision correction clinic, where you will apply your academic knowledge in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. Responsibilities:
Assist and perform patient testing during pre-operative and post-operative exams
Complete patient charts accurately
Learn and perform diagnostic skills including: lensometry, autorefraction, pupillometry, fundus photography, corneal topography and tomography, OCT (cornea and retina), biometry, and higher-order aberration testing
Support patient communication and ensure excellent customer service
The internship runs for 8 weeks, approximately 4 days per week (about 32 hours total).
