We deliver culturally responsive, accessible mental health services to children, youth, and families while providing system leadership and advocating to improve care in our community.

Position Summary:

Are you ready to shape the futureof child and youth mental health servicesin a dynamic, people-first organization? Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services, the Clinical Managerprovides leadershipinclinicalsupervision to health professionals working in interdisciplinary teamsdelivering community-based and intensive mental health programs and services.Our compassionate and experienced staff provide high quality mental health treatment to children with complex social, emotional, and mental health needs using a trauma informed approach.

TheClinicalManager will have a strong commitment to quality and will plan, implement, and evaluate clinical programs and services, participate in quality improvement projects, and collaborate with community partners to build a responsive system for children, youth,and families requiring mental health treatment andsupports.

Education/Training/Experience:

  • A masters degree in social work or a related field.
  • Preferred5 yearsof experience providing clinical supervision within childrens mental health services.
  • Member in good standing with a regulated professional college recognized by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario(CRPO, OCSWSSW, CNO, COTO, CPBAO, CPSO).
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a unionized environment, including implementation of human resource policies and practices.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and support high-performing interdisciplinary teams while serving as a clinical resource and mentor.
  • Experience in team leadership, change management, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of program planning, development, implementation, and evaluation.
  • French-Englishproficiencyor other languages is an asset.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, Teams).

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the development,implementation, and ongoingevaluation ofindividualizedserviceandtreatment plans for children, youth, and familiesreceiving services within assigned programs.
  • Provides clinicalleadership, coaching, andsupervision tobothdirect and indirect reports.
  • Providesoperational and clinicalcoverage asrequiredfor direct service workers.
  • Leads program developmentand continuous quality improvementinitiatives to ensureservicesremainresponsive to the evolving needs of children, youth, and families.
  • Participates in andpromotes a collaborative interdisciplinaryapproach toassessment, treatment planning, and service delivery.
  • Builds andmaintainsstrong partnerships withcommunity partners to coordinate integrated supports and resources.
  • Representsthe organization through active participationininternal committees, community networks, and inter-agency collaborations.

Requirements:

  • A valid drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Specialized training in a variety of treatment modalities that are consistent and integrated within Vaniers Service Delivery Framework
  • 2 Step TB test
  • Broad Record Check

Schedule:

  • 35-hour work week
  • Monday- Friday
  • Participates in on call rotation after 6 months of employment (approximately onceevery 8 weeks)
