As an HR Associate, youll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our HR team. Youll be a key point of contact for employee inquiries, help keep our HR processes running smoothly, and gain valuable experience across a variety of HR functions. Youll work closely with an experienced HR team and partner with leaders across the organization, building your knowledge and confidence along the way.
What Youll Do
As an HR Associate, youll support the day-to-day activities of the HR team and help create a positive employee experience across the organization.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Responding to employee and leader questions and helping direct inquiries appropriately
- Preparing HR documents such as offer letters, employment confirmations, and employee updates
- Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records
- Supporting recruitment activities including interview scheduling, candidate communication, screening, and reference checks
- Assisting with onboarding and orientation coordination for new employees
- Helping administer employee benefits and leave processes
- Supporting HR projects, annual processes, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Working closely with the HR team and leaders across the organization to keep processes running smoothly

Education & Experience
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 13 years of related experience in HR, administration, or a customer-focused role (co-op and internships considered)
- Exposure to recruitment or HR processes is an asset
