Line Leader

Position: Line Lead

Location: Mississauga, ON, Canada

Shift: Night (12AM to 7AM)

Position Summary

This position is primarily responsible for assisting in day-to-day supervision of products moving in and out of the warehouse, training / direction of personnel and record maintenance. Paperwork flow and accuracy is imperative to accurately control and report on all warehouse activities. Limited supervision of warehouse help to ensure safety and productivity are kept to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• · Maintain process & product quality on production line to meet quality specification.
• · Create product samples for quality verification and sign off.
• · Setup line capacity and maintain daily output and production time to meet production plan.
• · Confirm and follow up to production Team Leader if any problems.
• · Responsible for training line workers in all aspects of production line work.
• · To control line operator(s) performance to achieve production target.
• · To check and analyze nonconformity product and minimize production error.
• · Ability to perform all computer functions as they pertain to the job.
• · Continuous and frequently inspection of production line if the job is complex or critical in nature.
• · Maintain good housekeeping at all time at the respective working area.
• · Must be able to adapt and perform any job as per assigned by supervisor/manager.
• · Follow chain of command in problem solving and advice.
• · Assist Team Leader & supervisor in the daily running of production.
• · Verify rejects, segregate and place them in designate staging area for proper disposition.
• · Ensure RETURNS are accurately counted, wrapped and tagged for safe return to warehouse or location.
• · Ensure accurate finished good paperwork is completed at the end of each project in a timely manner.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Related experience preferred
• Understanding of production procedures
• Team work and communication skills
