Job Details:
Full-Time Summer Employment for 8 Weeks:
- Monday to Friday (days).
- $24.50/hour.
Qualifications:
- Degree, diploma or current enrollment in a social work, social service or child and youth care post-secondary program, or related human services program.
- Demonstrated ability to develop helping relationships with children, youth, and families.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, comfortable working with families in their homes.
- Will contribute to a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion with a commitment to the elimination of disparity and disproportionality in service outcomes.
- Valid “G” Driver's License and safe driving record (i.e., no more than two driving offences in the past three-year period, and/or no more than five demerit points).
- Access to a personal vehicle and proof of one-million-dollar liability insurance coverage.
- Criminal Records Check – Vulnerable Sector deemed satisfactory to the Employer.
