PACT (Pearson Accelerator Construction Team) is a General Partnership of Alberici, Amico, Kenaidan, and Obayashi, supported by design partners Egis, Mott MacDonald, and Weston Williamson + Partners. Together, we are delivering Accelerator, a major program of Pearson LIFT (Long-term Investment in Facilities and Terminals), Toronto Pearson's infrastructure development plan. This multi-year program is designed to address immediate passenger growth demands while preparing Canadas largest airport for the future of air travel, including critical upgrades to airfield and infrastructure, greenhouse gas reduction initiatives, modernization of Terminals 1 and 3, and the creation of a world-class passenger experience.

JOB SUMMARY

The Technical Administrator Quality Team provides administrative, technical, and documentation support to ensure quality processes, inspections, records, reports, and compliance requirements are properly maintained across the project. This role supports the Quality Team by coordinating quality documentation, tracking non-conformances, supporting inspections and audits, maintaining project records, and assisting with reporting and project closeout activities. The successful candidate will work closely with Quality, Engineering, Construction, Procurement, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to help ensure quality documentation and processes are organized, accurate, and aligned with project and client requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain and organize quality records, inspection reports, test results, certificates, and related documentation.
  • Support document control processes including document revisions, approvals, distribution, and archiving.
  • Track and maintain inspection reports, non-conformance reports, deficiencies, corrective actions, and closeout items.
  • Provide administrative and technical support to the Quality Team including meeting coordination, reporting, trackers, and project documentation.
  • Support scheduling and coordination of inspections, testing activities, and quality verification processes.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by preparing required records and supporting documentation.
  • Update quality dashboards, spreadsheets, databases, and reporting trackers.
  • Assist in compiling turnover packages, quality dossiers, and project closeout documentation.
  • Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, Construction, Procurement, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to support quality processes and reporting requirements.

WORKING CONDITIONS

The position will be based at our office in Mississauga, Ontario, with visits to the Airport site as required. Your work schedule will be Monday to Friday during regular office or site hours. At times, operational needs may require work outside these hours, with reasonable notice provided. All schedule or on-call adjustments will comply with applicable employment standards legislation. It is mandatory for all employees to complete a Criminal Background check and successfully attain a Restricted Access Identity Card (RAIC) upon joining the company.

DESIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, COMPETENCIES

  • Post-secondary diploma or equivalent required; education in Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Quality, or a related field is considered an asset.
  • Experience in an administrative, document control, quality, construction, engineering, or project support role.
  • Experience supporting a Quality Assurance or Quality Control team is considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with quality documentation including inspection reports, test records, non-conformance reports, corrective actions, and audit documentation.
  • Experience with document management systems, quality management systems, or project management platforms is considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality management standards is considered an asset.
  • Ability to read and understand basic technical documents, drawings, specifications, and procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and document control skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced project environment with multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with construction, infrastructure, industrial, or engineering project environments is considered an asset.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain Restricted Access Identity Card (RAIC) clearance.
