OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong technical aptitude to join our team for a client project based in Saint John, NB. In this role, you will lead and support the delivery of Microsoft-focused initiatives, with a particular emphasis on Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform. The successful candidate will be comfortable working closely with both business and technical stakeholders, understanding solution dependencies and delivery impacts, and helping to manage and guide a broader Microsoft program.
WHAT YOU LL BE DOING IN THE ROLE:
- Plan, lead, coordinate, and oversee the delivery of client-based projects and program deliverables.
- Support the planning and execution of initiatives involving Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and related Microsoft technologies.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and partners to ensure successful project delivery.
- Identify program/project milestones, critical success factors, dependencies, and resource requirements.
- Monitor project progress, manage timelines, and ensure deliverables remain aligned to client expectations and business outcomes.
- Proactively identify risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure appropriate escalation and resolution.
- Engage project stakeholders regularly by communicating delivery progress, risks, issues, and decisions clearly and effectively.
- Support initiatives involving business process improvement, technology transformation, and organizational change.
- Manage changes in scope, budget, or schedule in collaboration with sponsors, steering committees, and delivery teams.
- Analyze, problem solve, and research project elements as required to support informed decision-making.
- Provide proactive leadership and direction to project teams while maintaining strong alignment with the client s Microsoft program objectives.
WHAT SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS YOU LL NEED TO DO THE JOB:
- Bachelor s degree in business, engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related technical area and 5+ years of project management experience delivering technology-focused projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects involving Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Power Platform.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand solution concepts, system dependencies, integrations, and delivery impacts.
- Demonstrated ability to work in both collaborative and autonomous environments.
- Strong understanding of project management practices, consulting delivery, organizational change, and technology transformation.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of audiences, including technical, management, and executive stakeholders.
- Ability to work onsite in Saint John, NB, is required.
- Experience supporting or managing broader Microsoft program initiatives would be considered a strong asset.
- Relevant industry certifications are an asset (PMP, PROSCI).
