As theSoftware Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be working to ensure the quality and reliability of our cloud-native applications in AWS cloud environments. The successful candidate will ideally have experience in testing in IoT-enabled systems and/or AWS IoT services in order to ensure our API testing, UI validation and test automation in Playwright is optimized.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop and executetest strategies, test plans, and test casesfor AWShosted applications
• Perform comprehensiveAPI testingforcloudservices (functional, regression, integration, end to end tests and negative tests)
• Conduct thoroughUI validationsacross browsers and devices
• Design, develop, and maintainautomation frameworksusingPlaywright
• Validateendtoend workflowsinvolving UI, APIs, and AWS backend services
• Integrate automated test suites intoCI/CD pipelines(AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
• Validate deployments on AWS environments includingDEV,QA, and PROD
• Monitor and analyze test results, log defects, and collaborate closely with developers and DevOps teams
• Ensure test coverage forhigh availability, scalability, and fault tolerancein AWS
• ValidateIoT data flows, device communication, andcloudingestion pipelines

Who you are:

• 5+ years of experience inQAEngineering / Test Automation
• Strong experience testing applications deployed onAWS
• Solid understanding ofAPI testing concepts(REST, HTTP methods, status codes, JSON)
• Handson automation experience usingPlaywright(UI and API)
• Good proficiency inJavaScript or TypeScript
• Working knowledge ofPythonfor API testing, data validation, and test utilities
• Experienced withAWS services
• Familiarity withCI/CD pipelinesincloudenvironments
• Experienced usingGitand modern development workflows
• Strong debugging, problemsolving, and communication skills

Nice To Have Skills:

• Working experience with AWS IoT Core, IoT Devices or sensor-based platforms
• Expertise in event-driven architectures (SNS, SQS, Lambda triggers)
• Understanding ofperformance, security, and resilience testing
• Experience withtest data managementand environment configuration incloudsetups.
