Our client, a respected national business law firm, is seeking a dynamic and professional Corporate Executive/Legal Assistant to join their busy corporate team. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your skillset in an executive-support capacity, with a strong focus on business development, client relationship management, and practice support for a senior partner.
This role is ideal for a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working closely with both internal teams and external clients. The successful candidate will bring strong communication skills, a client-focused mindset, and the ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide business development support, including scheduling meetings, preparing travel agendas, coordinating client events, and managing gift distributions.
  • Support client development initiatives by managing the partners LinkedIn presence, including drafting posts, monitoring engagement, and identifying networking opportunities.
  • Manage the client intake process, including arranging conflict searches and preparing engagement letters and routine correspondence.
  • Assist with practice management tasks such as time-entry oversight, coordinating monthly billing cycles, and implementing internal best practices related to financial and client management.
  • Coordinate administrative tasks including scheduling, preparing materials for client interactions, and liaising with internal departments.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries, track follow-ups, and keep lawyers informed of client activity.
  • Maintain and update client/matter lists, electronic files, and contact records in accordance with firm standards.
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork, confidentiality, and accountability in all internal and external communications.
  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned, with a positive and proactive approach.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4+ years of legal administrative experience.
  • Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, with an aptitude for learning new software and systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and proofreading.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to assist others.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Experience with accounting or document management systems (e.g., Elite, iManage) considered an asset.
  • Strong grammar, punctuation, and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
  • Legal Administration Certificate preferred but not required.
Compensation & Benefits
This role offers a competitive salary range of $62,000$75,000
