Payroll, Benefits & Pension Specialist
Regular Full-time
Duties: Reporting to the Manager of Payroll and Benefits, this position is responsible for payroll, benefits, and pension administration, advisory services to employees, business process and technological innovation, and record management, ensuring compliance with a variety of legislative requirements, benefits plans, pension plans, and collective agreements. The nature of the work requires strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Qualifications: A post-secondary diploma in a related field and a payroll compliance practitioner designation or equivalent with 5 years of related experience, preferably in a large, unionized environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Extensive training and experience with computer software, particularly Excel.

Salary: CUPE Pay Level 6 with a starting wage of $51,305.80 per year as per CUPE Collective Agreement. The College also offers a comprehensive range of benefits, including defined pension, generous vacation entitlements, a health and dental plan, and more.
