Engineer

The Engineer will apply engineering techniques, skills and methods to install, modify, analyze, repair, improve and test tools, engines, machines or other mechanically functioning equipment. We are looking for a team player for whom the day-to-day challenges of a manufacturing environment brings out their very best. You will work in collaboration with the production department and all other associated departments as well. Responsibilities and challenges · Develops, evaluates, and improves industrial manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards. · Analyzes and plans space requirements, workflow, designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency. · Communicates manufacturing capabilities, and information to facilitate production processes. · Consults with vendors. · Acts as expert (SME) for training of operators, helpers, packers, and supervisors · Monitor reliability of equipment and make changes to procedures and / or equipment in order to meet agreed upon operating targets. · With the help of supervisors and operators implement new and revised operating procedures. · Support request for improvements made by the supervisors. · Interpret technical standards and develop corrective measures for the facilities. · Evaluate and maintain required spare parts list for his area of responsibility. · Maint Accommodations are available upon request for all individuals with disabilities taking part in the recruitment and selection process.
