About Our Company
Welcome to Low Tide Properties. We are a Vancouver-based privately held real estate investment, development, and management company. We own and manage over 60 properties in Strathcona, Gastown, Great Northern Way, Mount Pleasant and Kits.

About the Role & the Department
We are looking for an IT Intern to help our IT Team. This team works closely with all departments of our organization.

The IT Team is looking for an intern to help:

• Provide general administrative support to the IT department.
• Assist with Helpdesk troubleshooting for internal staff, including mobile phones, desktop support, user applications, data management, and email.
  
• Communicate with users both verbally and in writing.
  
• Support inventory management, including receiving, deploying, and tracking IT equipment and supplies.
  
• Help document IT procedures and workflows.
  
• Provide general assistance with office technology and software (e.g., printers, scanners, and other equipment).
  
• Perform standard IT tasks such as software installations, hardware upgrades, and system maintenance.
  
• Conduct site visits to Low Tide Properties for documentation, inventory, and troubleshooting of IT equipment.
  
• Participate in personal and departmental goal setting.
  
• Perform other duties as assigned by the IT Director.
  

Education & Experience

• Customer service or computer-related experience is an asset.
• Enrolled in post-secondary education (Diploma or Degree) in a relevant field such as Networking or Systems Administration.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Solid problem-solving abilities.
• Self-starter with high attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.

Salary: $24 per/hour
