CNC Machine Setup Operator Location: North York, ON
Shift: Afternoon Shift (3:00 PM – 11:15 PM)
About the OpportunityWe're looking for a dependable CNC Machine Setup Operator to join a high-energy production team on the afternoon shift. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, setting up, and running a variety of CNC-driven manufacturing equipment. You'll work from technical drawings, ensure smooth machine operation, and help maintain a safe, organized, and efficient production area.
What You'll Be Doing

• Set up and operate CNC production machinery based on job specifications
• Review blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions to perform precise part runs
• Monitor equipment during operation and make necessary adjustments to correct defects or irregularities
• Perform basic machine upkeep to maintain consistent performance
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation while following safety standards
• Communicate with supervisors and coworkers to meet daily production goals
• Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure a secure working environment

Skills & Experience You Bring

• Minimum 2 years' experience in machine setup and operation within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and documentation
• Solid mechanical aptitude with strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and maintain productivity under time-sensitive conditions
• Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve machine issues
• Effective communication skills with a team-oriented mindset
• Willingness to work overtime or adjusted hours as needed
