Press Operator

Job Title: Press Operator – Progressive Stamping

$21 per hour, 7:00am to 3:00pm, straight days, potential to Production Supervisor

Reports To: Production Supervisor

Minimum Requirements
• Solid English communication skills, spoken and written
• Three to five years in manufacturing with hands-on power press experience
• Strong understanding of basic machine operation, components, and safe operating methods
• Confident using machine controls and emergency stops
• Clear understanding of safety devices and guarding, including ram blocks and physical barriers
• Grade 10 or equivalent education
• Willing to work alternate shifts

• Comfortable running various presses and related assembly equipment

Responsibilities
• Work safely at all times and avoid placing yourself or others at risk
• Report unsafe conditions or practices immediately
• Follow all plant rules and procedures
• Operate assigned production equipment as instructed by supervisory staff
• Meet required quality and production standards
• Offer suggestions that support continuous improvement
• Maintain a clean work area throughout the shift and leave it clean at shift end
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by Management
