Lead Contractor

Tilewright Bath Conversion is seeking an experienced tile-setting professional to serve as Lead Contractor for our premium shower renovation projects in Ottawa. No staff to manage. Your priority is to treat customers like gold, and to produce beautiful, professional shower wet areas, using real ceramic or stone tile.

Key Requirements:

• Proven tile-setting expertise with portfolio or references demonstrating quality ceramic/stone installation work in wet areas
• Own reliable truck and complete set of professional tile-setting and renovation tools
• Available for paid customer consultation visits
• Comfortable reviewing customer product selections and offering technical guidance on shower base, shower door, and shower fixture configurations
• Ability to accurately measure tile surfaces, calculate square footage requirements, and generate complete materials lists
• Proficient with digital documentation tools (Company Cam for photos and project tracking)
• Professional appearance and communication skills - you'll represent our brand at customer homes
• Willingness to follow established processes including checklists, measurement protocols, and digital documentation requirements
• WSIB-compliant with liability insurance, with proof
• Demolition of bathtub or base, removal of existing tiles, installation of tile backer board with decoupling membranes, etc.
• Tiling shower wall areas, as well as floors (in some instances)
• Ability to install shower door systems reliably and accurately
