­Key Responsibilities:

You will maintain power boilers, turbines and auxiliary equipment associated with a 500-megawatt oil-fired thermal generating station as per the Boiler and Pressure Vessel Regulations.

You are responsible for your personal safety and that of co-workers by observing and promoting the company's Safety and Health Program and will be responsible for environmental aspects of the job and performing work in an environmentally responsible manner.

­What You'll Need:

You have graduated high school, and are a Power Engineer with a minimum third class certificate of competency, in addition to 5-7 years experience in an operating environment.­ Related experienced in oil-fired thermal generating plant, as well as successful completion of a three-year Mechanical Engineering Technology program (Power Engineering) from a recognized technical institute is considered an asset.
