DescriptionThe incumbent in this role is responsible for increasing adoption of GS1 Canada Standards and drive cost recovery of Industry Managed Solutions (IMS). In this role, the incumbent would be responsible for educating prospects including non-subscribing vendors and suppliers, new subscribers, and non-managed accounts. This position is a key contributor to delivering data integrity by enabling subscribers and non-subscribers to implement the IMS required by their trading partners. Key metrics for this role include Cost recovery targets, Data Provider engagement targets, Service adoption targets, Retention targets, Campaign metrics, and CRM updates. The role is considered hybrid with expectation of in-person attendance at least once every 2-3 weeks.

Key Responsibilities
- Educate subscribers and non-subscribers on the value proposition of GS1 Canada and its Industry Managed Solutions.
- Super serve subscribers and non-subscribers to ensure full understanding of GS1 Canada's value to market across multiple industries.
- Facilitate onboarding process for non-subscribing vendors and suppliers.
- Oversee vendor journey from non-subscriber to publication ready.
- Cultivate and prioritize the subscriber experience by tailoring discussions to the needs of the vendor.
- Drive engagement in IMS including but not limited to: New Item Setup (ECCnet), Marketing Content, Shelf Management Content (Planogram), eCommerce Content, Nutrition Content, Pharmaceutical Content, Enhanced Assets and Product Recall.
- Complete outreaches to support industry-driven initiatives and to increase adoption of GS1 Canada IMS.
- Educate vendors on how GS1 Canada IMS enhance common business processes and enable them to meet Trading Partner requirements in Canada and around the globe.
- Use communication skills to build rapport with vendors and to present advantages of subscription and IMS offerings.
- Obtain feedback from subscribers regarding potential service enhancements and share with relevant internal teams.
- Leverage internal tools such as Power BI Dashboard to drive adoption and to meet cost-recovery targets and deliverables.
- Collaborate inter-departmentally to achieve multi-sector board deliverables.
- Participation in Industry Trade Shows (5%).
Skills, Knowledge & ExpertisePosition Requirements
- Completion of recognized College Diploma in a related field preferred (i.e. Business, Retail Commerce, Supply Chain Management);
- A minimum of 2-3 year's work experience, preferably in a customer service and/administrative capacity within the supply chain industry;
- Knowledge of GS1 Canada, Barcoding Standards, GTIN Allocation Rules (Global Trade Identification Number), and ECCnet Registry an asset;
- Demonstrated proven high level of proficiency with MS Office suite, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint;
- Experience with CRM software and best practices;
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and effectively.
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work across multiple stakeholder groups
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to set priorities and manage many projects simultaneously;
- Preference given to candidates with Bilingual (French/English) language skills.
- Proficient in problem-solving and critical thinking, with the ability to analyze complex situations and an aptitude for process management;
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
