We are currently seeking a Relationship Manager, Transitions to join our Client Experience team. In this role, the successful candidate is expected to ensure the smooth running of our Transitions Team by providing them with necessary tools, support and knowledge around advisor practice and branch level changes, as well as recruitment of new businesses into Assante and maintenance of existing businesses. This position requires a deep understanding of the industry, advisor practices, and strong soft skills for effective business development and client service.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Lead and manage a transition service and operations team, ensuring excellence in performance and task execution.
- Oversee the onboarding of advisor assets and triage associated service items
- Coordinate the team tasks involved with Advisor business maintenance
- Cultivate a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
- Ensure client satisfaction by maintaining organization and promptly addressing escalated items.
- Collaborate seamlessly with colleagues across the organization to facilitate daily activities.
- Develop and guide team members in acquiring sufficient knowledge and training in order to perform their duties whilst also ensuring all team members have adequate back up when required
- Effectively track team statistics to manage the volume of inquiries.
- Collaborate closely with the back office for escalations and identify workflow efficiencies
- Lead, coach and develop team members to develop and improve the teams' processes, practices and procedures
- Responsible for evaluating and completing performance reviews for the teams and conducting quarterly performance reviews and recommending ratings for individual team members
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- College/University Degree, or equivalent experience
- 3 - 5 years' experience within the financial services industry
- Leadership experience in managing a team
- Mutual fund and/or securities operation experience
- Understanding of dealer back-office procedures
- Successful completion of IFIC and CSC is an asset
- RPM, Fundserv, ATON, Salesforce, PureFees experience an asset
- Strong understanding around onboarding of new business and/or Advisor Recruitment
- Excellent communication and listening skills to understand business needs and translate those needs into workable solutions
- Effective time-management, ability to manage tasks simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work within a fast-paced team oriented environment
- High degree of accuracy, ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
