Hiring Requirements:
As a Sanitation Operator at Bimbo Bakehouse, you will be:
- Responsible for completing tasks assigned from master sanitation program for the facility and for special assignments as determined by the Sanitation Supervisor.
- Utilize and maintain in-house sanitation cleaning equipment (Power washers, Vacuums, and floor Scrubbers).
- Understand, follow and maintain WHMIS procedures and regulations as required.
- Understand, follow and maintain all sanitation programs and requirements.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others.
- Must perform basic mathematical functions.
- Must possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be prepared to work extra hours when required.
- Requires bending, significant walking, scrubbing, scraping, mopping, moving objects, and pulling/pushing equipment, etc.
- Occasional heavy lifting (50–75 lbs) with assistance from a partner.
- Occasional frequent exertion of up to 35 lbs of force.
- Comfortable communicating in both verbal and written English.
