Timber-Tech Building Solutions, Formerly Darmac Framing Systems, is a privately owned Canadian company that builds quality walls, floors, and trusses for residential construction in our prefabrication facility. We provide a positive work environment for our employees and excellent value for our customers. We are looking to hire a Floor Framer to work in our facility based in Balzac, AB. The position will report directly to the Production Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand the requirements and layout of the framing work.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete framing tasks.
- Select appropriate materials, ensuring quality and compliance with building codes.
- Assemble and install floors according to design specifications.
- Assist with the installation of sheathing, insulation, and other building materials as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly dispose of waste materials.
- Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Must be able to write and speak in English.
- Proven experience as a carpenter or framer, preferably in a prefabrication or construction environment.
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and detailed specifications.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and framing techniques.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision in a fast-paced environment to achieve accurate cuts and assemblies.
- Knowledge of safety protocols, practices, and procedures in a construction or industrial setting.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and handle heavy materials as required.
- Must have reliable transportation to the work site. Public transportation is not available.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations related to framing tasks.
- Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
