Jack and Slide Rigger

Job Purpose:

The Jack & Roll Rigger is responsible for assisting the loading, offloading, and setting of various over dimensional loads including modules and transformers. Also is responsible for following all company and client policies, practices, and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Complete pre job system evaluations and FLRA's daily to ensure all hazards are identified and mitigated.
• Assumes responsibility for loading, offloading, setting/centering load and block placing to ensure safe and accurate placement.
• Light troubleshooting when required.
• Ensures work activities are performed in a safe, productive and efficient manner.
• Ensures all required paperwork including but not limited to; time sheets including job numbers, FLRA's, maintenance requests are completed and submitted in a timely manner.
• Other duties assigned as required.

Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience in a similar role in the Oil and Gas field.
• Class 1 license required with a clean commercial driver's abstract.
• Jack and Slide experienced preferred
• Assisting with jack and slide projects to meet customer requirements
• Safety awareness required
• Team player
• Motivated and shows initiative
• Physical aspects of the job
• Previous Jack & Slide experience an asset.
• Safety Certifications including CSTS 2020, H2S Alive, WHIMIS 2015, and First Aid
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Strong analytical skills and sound judgment to make decisions based on information.
• Results orientated and achievement motivated.
• Operates with high integrity; builds trust, quickly wins and sustains credibility in relationships with others.
• Successful passing of Pre-employment A&D test is required
