Job Locations:
The position requires travel to various locations in the Edmonton region (AB). The employer provides transportation when the job site is outside of the City of Edmonton.

Wage:
$41.58- $46/hour (based on experience; salary increases as per Company policy); performance bonus per company policy.

Employment terms and conditions: Permanent, Full-Time, 40 to 60 hours/week (weather-dependent), Morning, Day, Weekend, Overtime

Job Requirements

Language: English

Experience: 3 years of related experience

Work Setting: Underground Infrastructure construction which includes storm, sanitary, and water mains within municipal, commercial, or residential land development projects.

Ability to Supervise: 510 people

Construction Specialization: Municipal, commercial or residential deep underground utilities (storm, sanitary, and water systems).

Work Site Environment: Outdoors, Underground, Confined spaces, Dangerous, Dusty

Fast-paced environment, Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Manual dexterity, Work under pressure, Handling heavy loads (Up to 23 kg (50 lbs))

Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Security and safety: Must comply with the companys drug and alcohol testing requirements

Main Duties

  • Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of underground crews, including operators and pipelayers, working on municipal, commercial or residential water, sanitary, and storm systems.
  • Train and mentor employees.
  • Inspect trench depth, grade, and alignment to verify accuracy.
  • Monitor work progress to maintain productivity, quality, and adherence to project specifications.
  • Know, understand, and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Know, understand, and follow all company rules, policies, and procedures.
  • May perform the duties of those supervised.
