Job Title: Senior Project Manager – ICI Construction

Location: Vaughan

Base Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 per year (Commensurate with experience)

Position Overview

Join a well-established and growing Canadian construction firm recognized for delivering high-quality commercial, institutional, and mixed-use projects. We're looking for an experienced Project Manager who values teamwork, accountability, safety, and strong client relationships.

In this role, you'll lead projects from pre-construction through closeout, working closely with clients, consultants, trades, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.

What You'll Do:

Project Leadership

• Lead full project lifecycle — planning, scheduling, budgeting, and delivery
• Build and maintain strong client and consultant relationships
• Ensure project goals, timelines, and scope are clearly defined and communicated

Team & Stakeholder Coordination

• Direct internal teams, subcontractors, and consultants
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and performance oversight
• Coordinate and resolve project issues with all stakeholders

Construction Execution

• Conduct regular site visits and oversee daily progress
• Ensure work meets contract requirements, design specs, and safety standards
• Review submittals, RFIs, drawings, and site reports

Budget & Cost Control

• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost tracking
• Review invoices, change orders, and payments
• Prepare progress billings and financial reports

Quality & Safety

• Enforce company safety standards and industry regulations
• Maintain strong quality control processes to prevent deficiencies

Reporting & Documentation

• Provide consistent project updates to leadership and clients
• Maintain accurate logs, schedules, and documentation

What You Bring

• 10+ years' experience managing ICI construction projects
• Degree/diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Strong understanding of scheduling, cost control, contracts, and construction methods
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with project management and construction software (e.g., MS Office, MS Project, Procore, BIM tools)
• Professional certifications (Gold Seal, LEED, WELL, Passive House, etc.) are an asset
