Forklift Operator - Shipper / Receiver

We are looking for great people to join our team in Brantford! This is a direct-hire position! That means you will be on our client's payroll from day one! This job has rotating shifts: days, afternoons, and nights. The pay rate for days is $22.50/hour, afternoons is $23.25/hour, and nights is $23.75/hour. You must be able to work all three shifts. About the company: - Family run business - Has been in business since the 1950s - Great company culture The Forklift Operator Shipper / Receiver position is responsible for performing material handling, clean-up, and packaging and other elemental activities related to food and beverage processing. Responsibilities: - Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or using counterbalance forklift and/or basic material handling equipment - Move product onto and off moving trucks or vans, complete relevant paperwork - Maintain inventory - Perform other material handling activities such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing and unpacking Requirements: - At least 1 year of experience in inventory management - At least 1 year of experience operating a counterbalance forklift - Valid counterbalance forklift certification - Experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment - Experience working in a food production environment is an asset APPLY TODAY!
