DescriptionReena is actively looking for Contract, Part-Time Recreational Support Workers (RSWs) to work within its Community Outreach programs. As an RSW, you would provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
This is a great opportunity for University/College students looking for Part-Time employment. There is potential for extensions and growth within the agency.
Work Schedule:
The Recreational Support Worker role is a Temporary Contract role.
Shifts:
7 working days: December 22, 23, 24, 29, 30, 31 and January 2
Shift timings: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Job Responsibilities· Design and implement recreational activities for individuals with developmental disabilities· Reinforce social and life skills· Participate in mandatory meetings and training
QualificationsRequirements
  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years and older.
  • Possession of a valid G license preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Comfortable with driving Reena's van for transportation purposes (if applicable)
Qualification
  • Background related to child care, education, social work, psychology, social services, child and youth worker
  • Self-motivated and willing to learn
  • Flexible and adaptive to change
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
  • Creativity, patience, and a passion for working with children and youth.
