Salary:

We are seeking a part-time (20 hours/week) remote Program Assistant - Leads. This position requires a flexible schedule of mostly afternoon business hours, along with some evenings and weekend coverage. In this role, you will contact potential partners who have expressed an interest in CAREERS programs, answer their questions, encourage them to participate and qualify them to move forward with the application process. As the first point of contact for these potential partners, this position is critical to the leads funnel. Reporting to the Leads Manager, you will be knowledgeable about the organization, have excellent critical thinking and communication skills, and create a positive first impression.

Responsibilities

  • Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls, emails, texts and follow-up conversations in a timely manner
  • Follow communication scripts when communicating with different inquiries
  • Identify whether an inquiry qualifies for CAREERS programs
  • Seize opportunities to encourage qualified inquiries to participate in CAREERS programs
  • Develop a sense of trust and rapport with internal staff and external partners
  • Answer any questions that arise with integrity and knowledge
  • Make sure all communications are logged into Salesforce
  • Identify any inefficiencies and suggest improvements that could be made to the process to improve conversion rates
  • Virtually attend team meetings
  • Support the Programs and Development Department as required

Education and Experience

  • Office Administration Certificate or Diploma preferred
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Experience in customer service, help desk, or call center environment considered an asset
  • Good data entry and typing skills
  • Proficiency in:
    • Microsoft Office Suite
    • Salesforce
