About the Company
Our client is a growing General Contractor with a diverse project portfolio. While they deliver a variety of projects—from high-end residential to retail and automotive dealerships—the backbone of their business is fit-out and refurbishment work. They are now seeking a Project Coordinator/Estimator to join their expanding team and support their continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
EstimatingDevelop accurate and detailed cost estimates for projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
Review blueprints, specifications, and project documentation to prepare estimates.
Analyze subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure competitiveness.
Support project managers in overseeing schedules, tracking progress, and ensuring timely task completion.
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.
Assist in procurement and scheduling of resources.
Act as a liaison between clients, project managers, site teams, and subcontractors.
Ensure timely and clear communication across all stakeholders.
Address project-related queries promptly and professionally.
Track and manage project costs to ensure alignment with budgets.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
Assist with monthly reporting and financial updates.
Identify potential project risks and collaborate with the team to mitigate them.
Support the implementation of quality assurance and compliance standards.
Qualifications
Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in an Estimating or Project Coordination role within construction.
Strong understanding of construction processes, drawings, and specifications.
Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Timberline, Procore, or similar).
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
