About the Company

Our client is a growing General Contractor with a diverse project portfolio. While they deliver a variety of projects—from high-end residential to retail and automotive dealerships—the backbone of their business is fit-out and refurbishment work. They are now seeking a Project Coordinator/Estimator to join their expanding team and support their continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

Estimating
  • Develop accurate and detailed cost estimates for projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.

  • Review blueprints, specifications, and project documentation to prepare estimates.

  • Analyze subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure competitiveness.

Project Coordination
  • Support project managers in overseeing schedules, tracking progress, and ensuring timely task completion.

  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.

  • Assist in procurement and scheduling of resources.

Communication & Stakeholder Management
  • Act as a liaison between clients, project managers, site teams, and subcontractors.

  • Ensure timely and clear communication across all stakeholders.

  • Address project-related queries promptly and professionally.

Budget & Documentation
  • Track and manage project costs to ensure alignment with budgets.

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.

  • Assist with monthly reporting and financial updates.

Risk & Quality Management
  • Identify potential project risks and collaborate with the team to mitigate them.

  • Support the implementation of quality assurance and compliance standards.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 2–5 years of experience in an Estimating or Project Coordination role within construction.

  • Strong understanding of construction processes, drawings, and specifications.

  • Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Timberline, Procore, or similar).

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
