We are seeking an experienced and approachable Career Advisor to support students, graduates, and professionals in making informed career decisions. The Career Advisor will provide guidance on career pathways, job search strategies, resume building, interview preparation, and professional development. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of the job market, and a passion for helping individuals achieve their career goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one and group career counseling sessions.

  • Assist clients in identifying strengths, interests, and career goals through assessments and discussions.

  • Guide individuals in creating professional resumes, cover letters, and online profiles.

  • Coach clients on effective job search strategies, networking, and interview techniques.

  • Deliver workshops and seminars on career development, employability skills, and labor market trends.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, job opportunities, and educational pathways.

  • Build and maintain relationships with employers, recruiters, and educational institutions to support career opportunities.

  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress.

  • Support students and professionals in internship, job placement, and career transition processes.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Proven experience as a Career Advisor, Career Coach, Guidance Counselor, or in a similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of career development practices, job market trends, and recruitment processes.

  • Excellent communication, coaching, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to build trust and maintain confidentiality.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Proficiency in career assessment tools and digital platforms (LinkedIn, job boards, etc.).

Education & Experience
  • Bachelors degree in Career Counseling, Human Resources, Psychology, Education, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).

  • Certification in Career Coaching or Counseling (e.g., NCDA, ICF, or equivalent) is an advantage.

  • Minimum 24 years of experience in career advising, coaching, or counseling.
