We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager based in Victoria, BC. Reporting to the Director of Operations and the Vancouver Island Construction Manager, this role will be pivotal in overseeing the planning, coordination, and successful execution of electrical projects from start to finish-ensuring resource optimization and strong financial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:Ensure compliance with all industry and company safety standards
Promote and uphold the company's core values: Safety, Innovation, Relationships, and Trust
Support business development efforts to expand regional market share
Plan project schedules, resource allocation, procurement, and commissioning
Manage budgets and control costs using best practices
Coordinate and track RFIs and change orders
Maintain strong client relationships and resolve concerns promptly
Lead project meetings and progress reviews
Work closely with Site Superintendents and Forepersons
Mentor and support Project Administrators
Forecast project financials
Secure necessary permits and licenses
Oversee pre-construction meetings and project handoffs
Collaborate with prefabrication and design teams
Set clear goals for field teams and support employee development
Monitor project progress and generate reports
Estimate change orders when needed
Lead project closeout and post-project evaluations
Build and maintain industry relationships
Conduct foreperson meetings within your area
Perform additional duties as required
Certified Electrical Journeyperson and/or proven experience in electrical project management
Minimum 8 years of experience managing electrical projects
Strong knowledge of project management tasks, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and billings
Familiarity with industry practices, standards, and products
Strong time management and multitasking skills
Proficient with industry tools/software: Bluebeam, SiteDocs, Accubid, and Microsoft Office
Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and customer service skills
Solid understanding of financial processes, budgeting, and contract management

Experience Required:
5+ years in commercial/residential electrical work (preferred)
8+ years in electrical project management (preferred)
Certification:
Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician (preferred)
Work Location: On-site in Victoria, BC
