Sales Representative
Position Overview:
Lambert Nemec Group is partnering with an expanding and innovative organization in its search for a Sales Representative. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional to lead with impact, guide key initiatives, and contribute to the organization's long-term success in the manufacturing sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new customers within target industrial and manufacturing markets across regions in Western Canada.
- Develop and maintain strong, lasting relationships with existing clients by understanding their manufacturing needs and recommending comprehensive solutions, including co-manufacturing and custom manufacturing services.
- Collaborate effectively with internal engineering, production, and coating experts to deliver tailored, high-quality products and services.
- Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations, proposals, and quotes aligned with customer requirements and organizational capabilities.
- Maintain accurate sales records, CRM data, and sales forecasts to support business planning and growth.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to expand market presence and stay informed on industry trends and competitors.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of progressive B2B sales experience in manufacturing, industrial, or technical sales, preferably within steel, coatings, or related sectors.
- Proven ability to independently manage sales pipelines and close new business while nurturing ongoing client partnerships.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, coatings, and surface treatments such as galvanizing, powder coating, sandblasting, and painting is an asset.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills suitable for engaging with diverse stakeholders in the steel and industrial markets.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach and willingness to travel regionally and nationally as needed.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Odoo) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred.
