Position Overview
Lambert Nemec Group is proud to partner with a respected and progressive organization in their search for a Human Resources Manager. This pivotal executive leadership role offers an opportunity to shape the organization's people strategy, drive enterprise-wide initiatives, and lead a high-performing HR team in delivering impactful business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, champion, and execute an HR strategy that aligns with long-term business goals, ensuring the organization is well-positioned for sustainable growth and success.
- Lead all aspects of union and non-union relations, ensuring collaborative, transparent, and productive workplace relationships.
- Create and implement progressive programs to attract, retain, and develop top talent, building robust leadership pipelines and succession plans.
- Drive change management initiatives that enable the organization to adapt and thrive during transformation, restructuring, or growth.
- Serve as a key member of the senior leadership team, providing workforce insights, analytics, and recommendations that inform critical business decisions.
- Oversee adherence to all employment legislation and HR best practices, balancing regulatory compliance with organizational agility.
- Champion initiatives that strengthen organizational culture, increase employee engagement, and promote a high-performance environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, with a proven track record in strategic and operational HR management.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline; CPHR designation (or equivalent) strongly preferred.
- Extensive experience managing labour relations, including union negotiations and contract administration.
- Demonstrated expertise in talent management, succession planning, and leadership development.
- Strong background in organizational change, transformation, and workforce planning.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
