Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable General Labourer to maintain and organize our busy construction rental yard. This physical, outdoor role involves initial installation and ongoing maintenance of the system at high-rise construction sites. It also involves assisting with equipment handling, yard upkeep, and general tasks to support the team.

Skills Required:

• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.), stand for extended periods, and work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Experience in high-rise construction or window washing is a plus
• Valid forklift operator license (not required)
• Knowledge of basic safety rules
• PPE: Safety boots and hard hat mandatory
• Comprehensive training provided

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized yard
• Load and unload construction equipment
• Stage and prepare orders for shipping
• Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as cleaning equipment
• Assist with inventory tracking and organizing rental items
• Support customers by preparing rental equipment and answering questions
• Follow all safety guidelines and report any hazards
• Walking distance to Sperling-Burnaby Lake Sky-Train Station

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $25.00 - $30.00/hour
• Overtime pay available

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts
