Our client, a well established manufacturer based in Delta (Annacis Island) is seeking an IT Administrator to provide full IT/Tech support to their team. - Provide in-person IT support to all employees, management and leadership team
- Respond to and manage incoming technical support requests
- Set up new users in all technology components (Microsoft accounts, Syspro ERP etc.)
- Ensure new users are trained and understand functionality of systems as appropriate
- On premise server management
- Support eventual migration from on premise to cloud server
- Oversee and maintain the office's IT infrastructure, end-user devices, and applications
- Ensure the availability and proper working condition of computer equipment and peripherals by managing and assisting with their setup, maintenance, repair, and disposal
- Develop and distribute technical instructional documentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in server area
- Participate in projects on the installation, configuration, maintenance, and operation technology infrastructure and the associated hardware and software
- Responsible for office firewalls
- Support integration of systems as new company locations are added
- Support new systems implementations as required in the future
- Support communication and productivity stack
- Support issues with telephony systems
- Relevant Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience, ideally in a manufacturing/production environment
- Strong customer orientation and communication skills
- Ability to coach and guide users through basic computer tasks
- Extremely detail-oriented, organized, with excellent time management skills
- Programming knowledge, SQL knowledge, and the ability to diagnose ERP software related issues
