Our client is expanding its operations in Canada and the US, and they require a newCost Accountant. This role supports production, procurement, and engineering groups by ensuring accurate operational and financial reporting while driving cost efficiencies.

Your tasks will include material and labour cost analysis, following a standard costing model. You will demonstrate and learn inventory flow, cycle counts and cost allocations for labour, materials, operating costs and fixed assets. This is an expanding operation, so understanding the supply chain, purchase price variance analysis and supporting the operators on cost analysis will be a huge value add.

The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment, will have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of Excel spreadsheets, and a proven ability to identify challenges and suggest practical solutions.
