Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and organized Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to join our team. This role will involve supporting Accounting functions, as well as assist the executive team with their day-to-day functions. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to contribute to other departments, with ample room for growth within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support and front desk reception duties
- Process purchase orders and handle accounts payable (AP) functions
- Coordinate office operations and maintain efficient workflow
- Assist with payroll processing and related tasks
- Proficiently use QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous executive assistant experience is an asset
Qualifications:
- Relevant educational background in Business Administration or related field
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Experience with construction companies considered a key asset
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Time and payroll experience preferred
- Experience with sage 50 is an asset
- Experience with AP/AR preferred
