Project Manager (Mid-Rise Residential Construction)
Location: Kitchener, ON
Salary: $120,000 $130,000 CAD + Benefits
Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site

Our client is a well-established General Contractor and Construction Management firm based in Kitchener with a strong reputation and long-term pipeline of work. They are currently seeking a Project Manager to lead the development of a new mid-rise residential project from start to finish.

About the Role:

The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of construction delivery on a mid-rise residential site, ensuring the project is completed on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a full-time, on-site position offering strong growth prospects within a stable and respected construction group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day construction operations and coordination on site
  • Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting
  • Oversee subcontractor and supplier relationships
  • Ensure safety compliance and quality control throughout the project lifecycle
  • Collaborate with design consultants, internal teams, and ownership to resolve issues and drive progress
  • Monitor project costs, forecast future needs, and manage changes effectively

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Project Manager or similar role within the construction industry
  • Experience with mid-rise residential construction strongly preferred; ICI (Institutional, Commercial, Industrial) experience also considered if relevant
  • Proven ability to manage construction schedules, budgets, and on-site teams
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety practices
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
