Overview

Start your career in prop-tech by contributing to the Geosimple property reports platform. Work alongside experienced developers building production software that provides comprehensive property intelligence to real estate professionals, developers, and property owners through advanced geospatial analysis and AI-powered insights.

Key Responsibilities

- Feature Development: Implement new functionality in Svelte frontend applications and Python backend services for property reporting

- Data Processing: Build tools for importing, validating, and transforming property data, permitting information, and geospatial datasets

- Testing & QA: Write comprehensive tests for geospatial calculations, property analysis algorithms, and API endpoints

- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, API specifications, and user guides for property report features

- Database Operations: Support PostgreSQL/PostGIS database maintenance, query optimization, and spatial data operations

- AI Integration Support: Assist with data preparation and integration testing for conversational AI and geospatial processing agents

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or pursuing)

- Basic programming experience in Python and JavaScript

- Understanding of web development fundamentals (HTML, CSS, REST APIs)

- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies

- Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset

Preferred Qualifications

- Course work or projects involving databases, web development, or geospatial systems

- Interest in real estate technology, property data, or urban planning applications

- Experience with version control (Git) and agile development practices

- Familiarity with cloud platforms, mapping technologies, or modern JavaScript frameworks
