The Role:
- We're looking for a self-motivated, superstar Pharmacist to join the amazing Pocketpills team on a maternity leave contract.
Job Duties:
- Provide virtual consultation including minor ailment assessments and answer medication-related questions through various mediums efficiently and courteously
- Perform clinical verifications for prescriptions on time to ensure efficient operations
- Conduct technical checks on medication orders in an efficient manner
- Provide coaching and guidance to pharmacy team members to improve the pharmacy processes
- Partner with pharmacy manager and Operations management to review processes regularly to ensure optimal efficiency, effectiveness and embrace continuous improvement
- Review escalated issues for resolution. Interface with patients and team members as needed to resolve
- Ensure compliance with applicable Federal and Provincial laws, rules and regulations
- Do anything in your capacity to make sure that the patient is never out of medications.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
- Registered part A pharmacist in good standing with the BC College of Pharmacists
- Passion for providing optimal patient-centered care to all patients
- Ability to achieve results with a strong sense of urgency and a "can-do" attitude.
- Ability to learn and handle new software platforms.
- Detailed oriented, team player and positive attitude.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
- Ability to adapt to needs of business by assisting in different tasks in an efficient manner
- Strong time management and organizational skills to meet tight deadlines.

The annual compensation for this maternity leave position is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and alignment to the market.
