A publicly listed mining company in Toronto, ON is seeking a Senior Director of Finance for a 4-month contract. This role is ideal for a seasoned finance professional with expertise in regulatory reporting, IFRS compliance, and audit management, especially within the mining or resource sector.

As the Senior Director of Finance, you will be responsible for direct financial reporting for TSX filings, MD&A, and international subsidiaries. You will oversee external audit processes to ensure compliance in various jurisdictions, drive strategic reporting to executive leadership and the board, manage internal controls, develop policies, and streamline processes. Additionally, you will provide specialized guidance on technical accounting and cross-border transactions
