Key Responsibilities:
- Provides project management on large scale, complex, high profile and high-risk projects for OPS I&IT initiatives.
- Project Planning and Road mapping: Collaborate with technical teams to develop and maintain project roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business goals and priorities.
- Task Breakdown: Break down large, complex tasks into smaller, manageable pieces of work, ensuring clarity and focus for the team.
- Agile Facilitation: Facilitate agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and ensure adherence to agile processes and principles.
- Bottleneck Identification: Proactively identify bottlenecks and risks and propose actionable solutions to keep projects on track.
- Work Allocation: Ensure team members have a steady stream of work, balancing workloads and priorities across teams.
- Metrics and KPIs: Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team performance and work throughput.
- Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve processes to optimize team efficiency and output.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Facilitate communication and collaboration across multiple teams, ensuring alignment and transparency.
- Reporting: Create and deliver clear, actionable reports on project status, progress, and metrics using tools like JIRA.
- Accountability: Take ownership of project delivery, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
- SDLC Tracking & Technical Oversight: Monitor and track the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure projects progress through key phases (e.g., planning, development, testing, deployment) efficiently, identifying risks and dependencies at each stage.
Must-haves:
- This is a Technical PM Role so the client is looking for a hands-on Technical PM with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to handle client relationships to manage expectations provide updates as required, identify potential conflicts between project and functional areas and communicate with different stakeholders at various stages of the Project Delivery
- Possess a deep understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and hands-on experience guiding projects through each phase, from planning and development to testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Proven experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and familiarity with agile tooling like JIRA.
Nice-to-Have:
- Certification in agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, PMI-ACP).
