OPPORTUNITY
The Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition will lead the strategic direction and execution of Fengate's full cycle recruitment efforts across North America. Working closely with senior leadership, this role will help develop long-term recruitment strategies and build trusting relationships with potential hires and internal stakeholders across Canada and the US. Ultimately, they will create strong talent pipelines for our current and future hiring needs as set out in our strategic plan for Vision 2032.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and execute mid and senior level recruitment; including determining the appropriate search strategy, posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, presenting offers, conducting due diligence, and tracking progress through all stages.
- Build and foster effective relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders by working directly with hiring managers to successfully fill roles and meet the needs of the department.
- Inspire, guide, and support the ongoing growth and development of the wider team and collaborate effectively with peers across the Talent Acquisition team.
- Leverage relevant recruitment channels such as LinkedIn, Indeed, community associations/networks and referrals to source active and passive candidates.
- Partner with the senior leadership team and HR business partners to understand business needs and strategic workforce planning.
- Oversee the implementation of process and ongoing optimization of Talent Acquisition technology.
- Provide quarterly analytics of recruitment activity to the HR team as requested.
- Vet and partner with external recruitment agencies as needed.
- Utilize analytical skills to track and report on key recruitment metrics ensuring effective, efficient, and unbiased hiring.
- Ad hoc Talent Acquisition projects such as the annual review of recruitment process and policies, background check processes, and research into diversity initiatives.
- Participate in industry networking events to continuously refine our best practices and ensure we are using up to date methods of recruitment.
Requirements
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- 5-7 years of experience in recruitment and leadership, interested in continuing a career in talent acquisition.
- Bachelor's degree in business, HR, or another relevant field. (CHRL designation is an asset).
- Experience leading the recruitment for roles in investments, asset management, or broader financial services is an asset.
- Demonstrated business professionalism, respect for confidentiality and appropriate handling of sensitive information.
- Functions well in a fast-paced environment that demands strong organizational and technical skills.
- Detail oriented and resourceful in completing projects; able to effectively multi-task with competing priorities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; both verbal and written.
- Must have strong experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and how to extract analytics.
- Demonstrate initiative combined with drive, determination, and commitment to complete tasks from start to finish.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with a proven ability to create and manage documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and emails efficiently.
- Build diverse and inclusive talent pipelines by leveraging sourcing strategies, meaningful partnerships, and outreach to diverse communities.
- Track and evaluate key hiring metrics to deliver data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to executive leadership to support decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- Willing to travel between Toronto and Oakville as required to meet team and business needs.
